    A New Social operates Bridgy Fed to provide interoperability between decentralized social network protocols ActivityPub and AT Protocol. With a grant from the Interledger Foundation, A New Social led the lexicon definition for Web Monetization. Then, they integrated into Bridgy Fed with the JSON-LD definition for Web Monetization to have bi-directional Web Monetization wallet address attribution between the ActivityPub and AT Protocol ecosystems.

    Conffab is an online learning platform featuring content from experts curated by leading conference organizers. With a grant from the Interledger Foundation, Conffab will integrate and experiment with Web Monetization as an additional revenue model for its service and its content authors. It also contributed UX feedback on the Web Monetization WordPress plugin.

    WriteFreely is an open source publishing platform used by over 550,000 writers. With a grant from the Interledger Foundation, Musing Studio updated WriteFreely’s support for Web Monetization to the latest specification and test on Write.as, the flagship instance of WriteFreely.

  5. Castapod - Ad Aures

    Castopod, an open source podcasting platform, to support the latest draft of the Web Monetization standard and develop new capability for including wallet addresses in social web feeds. Demonstrate interoperability with Mastodon and other social web apps that have enabled Web Monetization at Fosdem 2025 and Fediforum in April 2025. Castopod’s previous implementation of Web Monetization must be updated in order to work with the new browser extension and other apps. The latest draft of the proposed Web Monetization standard contains backwardsincompatible changes. Additionally, the specification has changed how to include Web Monetization wallet addresses in the RSS 2.0 feed format used by the podcasting ecosystem and the Atom and JSON Feed formats used by the RSS ecosystem.

  9. Fynbos Technologies Limited

    In collaboration with the Interledger Foundation, Fynbos will provide wallets to grantees in all supported jurisdictions. While the initial launch of the Fynbos application is limited to US-resident users and internal payments, future updates will expand access to the UK and EU. This expansion will enable international payments between those regions and the US.
